These vintage welding goggles are quite versatile - the outer frame of the lens screws off to remove the green lenses and just use the clear ones if you choose. A slight microscopic quality. The large, round lenses in the dark red frames make for a very cool looking pair of glasses. Brown marbled hardened plastic with metal vents on sides, glass lenses, and leather nose strip. Whether you want these for welding, Burning man, collection, or just to keep as decor these glasses were maintained extremely well and will be perfect for whatever you choose!
The glasses measure 6” wide by 2 1/2” tall. Good vintage workshop condition, without any of the expected signs of use, everything fully intact, with a bit of slackness in the elastic. Marked 'Norton, Cran., R.I., U.S.A., Type B' on the side of the frames, and the green lenses are marked 'HN5'.
