A beautiful handmade statement necklace.
There are 60 strands of beads, thousand of beads over all painstakingly strung by hand. The finishing ends are of hand knitted macrame with a button coin closure.
This piece is very old and has succumb to tarnish transfer from the bronze coin on to the cotton macrame, so please examine photos closely. I think it adds debt to this piece.
The coin used for the clasp has been hammered and drilled. The markings of GEORGE V are visible on the coin. George V was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 6 May 1910 until his death in 1936.
CONDITION
Excellent condition considering its use and age which is estimated to be early to mid 20th century. No breakage - strands intact - strong integrity.
It’s very heavy weights over 11oz.
