Vintage original 1953 movie poster lobby cards (each 11” x 14”) for the classic “behind the scenes” Hollywood melodrama “The Bad & the Beautiful” directed by Vincent Minnelli & starring Kirk Douglas, Lana Turner, Gloria Grahame, Walter Pidgeon, Leo G. Carroll & Dick Powell.
This original vintage 1952 “The Bad & The Beautiful” set of 8 film theater lobby cards (11” x 14”) from the original release of the film is in fine to very fine condition. The unrestored cards have general wear & tear, pinholes. no tape marks, minor creases & light smudges. The title lobby card has a couple pinholes, one of which was roughly removed in lower left area. Otherwise the lobby cards are in wonderful condition with vibrant colors & spectacular designs that really capture the style & flair of the film & will display quite well.
The film won 5 Academy Awards out of 6 nominations in 1952 (including Gloria Grahame winning Best Supporting Actress).
