I recently acquired this from a dear friends mom, who was a European world traveler and a big lover of rubies & garnets. I wish I knew more about this ring, what I do know is that it's solid gold, not plated and that the stones are a deep burgundy garnet. The ring is at least 50 years old and weighs 3.62 grams, no flaws. Please look at the last 2 pics for size
